Its hard to explain how different I felt walking out of Pelley Law office after my initial consultation with Sarah, tthan how I felt walking in. It was like a weight had been lifted. For the first time in a long time I felt like everything was going to be OK. I even cried a little, and I’m a dude. There was no judgement, only compassion and understanding. She helped me realize that the medical problems and subsequent job loss, were completely out my control, and that although I felt guilty about not being able to pay my bills, that that feeling was misguided. I remember her saying “the banks are doing just fine, and that I had probably already paid for what I purchased several times over.” She also said that the creditors will show me no loyalty, and therefore I should follow their example. She was right: 20 years of good credit and no missed payments meant nothing to them. The process was seamless. I always knew what was going on, and I got emails just checking on how I was doing. Chip met me for my hearing. Again, he said it would be simple and straightforward and he was true to his word. It didn’t hurt that I felt like I had a linebacker representing me. I would recommend to anyone who is struggling with their debts to call Sarah, before they light more money on fire and end up their office anyway.
