Solicitation of Prostitution

Solicitation of prostitution is a crime in Texas.  Not only can it result in confinement, but it can have an enormous influence on someone’s career, marriage and child custody.

This allegation can stem from a misunderstanding, a joke that was taken the wrong way, or even a stupid mistake.  But one thing is clear, the ramifications of an allegation of solicitation of prostitution are no joke.

The state has the burden of proof beyond a reasonable doubt in this type of allegation just like as is the case in any other criminal complaint.  That is the highest burden of proof in our system of jurisprudence.  Accordingly, just because you are charged with an offense does not mean that you do not have a very strong criminal defense.
